"The property is modern and would be fantastic for groups of friends/ family. The rooms are mainly timber inside with looks beautiful but gathers alot of dust so room was quite dusty ( which is uncomfortable for people with allergies or sensitive to dust ) the rooms were very clean other than the dust. No parking outside rooms. Well worth staying & we will return. "

"Walked in for check in, and not only was the process effortless, the lady at the counter was excellent. She made recommendations after I told her my plans, and it made the trip so much better. Parking was wonderful, I parked right infront of my room, the room was perfect..only issue was the hot water seemed to have a personality which resulted in me having a cold shower. Dinner was delicious, waiters were excellent. Next morning I discovered a Banjo's next door, and a supermarket."

"The Sorell Barracks' Garden Shed which i stayed in for a night was well equipped, comfortable, secure and warm. The 4 poster double bed was charming. The TV reception was good. The heater worked. The kitchenette was well equipped. There was plenty of hot water for the shower. The front door key was in a key safe on the door, the code to which was txted to me on the day of arrival. Just 45 minutes from Hobart, Dunalley is a small town by the sea with a canal and swing bridge separating it from the Tasman Peninsula. Affected but also in a way spared from annihilation which could have befallen them in the disastrous fires that roared through the area in January 2013, Bangor Wine & Oyster Shed sits above the town, overlooking Bangor Vineyard, Blackman Bay, Marion Bay and Norfolk Bay where some of Australia's best oysters are grown. Now it is a stop on the way to or from Port Arthur or a retreat after work on Friday nights when it is open in summer until 9.00pm.
