"This place offers disc golf! Another wonderful option to enjoy the outdoors for free. They charge rental fee for the disks if you forget to bring your set but; otherwise, FREE to play! Meander thru their part of Illinois with the fall colors as your backdrop. Have the Mississippi River on your right the sun on your left and the wind blowing behind you! It is heaven. We'd go back!"

"It wasn’t made clear on hotels.com that this bnb is in the middle of major renovations. The rooms were completed, but the outside and windows were in major need of work and confused us when we got there. When we looked at the properties website later, it did mention the construction. The owners were nice, but somewhat disorganized and there were spaces that were full of supplies and trash from construction in view. "Me and my mom came for a 2 day trip. We were immediately greeted by the Innkeeper who was very friendly and showed us to our room. Check in was a breeze. The place is fantastic and has a lot of history. The breakfast was great as well, the innkeeper went above and beyond. 10/10 recommend and would stay here again. "

"Innkeeper Kerrie was kind and overall helpful. The building is beautiful. She has generally concerned about our ability to get to the third floor and helped us relocate to the coach house. One TV didn’t work in the space and the lighting in the coach house was pretty dim. The breakfast was good and she was willing to accommodate our special dietary needs. I do feel like some aspects of the house and yard could have been cleaner. Parking can be a challenge. "

"This place was so cute and perfect for our needs. My husband and I stayed here with our two college age boys for a quick getaway to Galena. My husband and I took the main bedroom while one of our sons took the 2nd bedroom and the other slept on the pull out bed in the loft. The decor is beautifully done with plenty of seating, a fully stocked kitchen, and lots of blankets, pillows, etc! "The condo was very clean! We were very comfortable and really enjoyed our stay. My husband enjoyed looking out toward the lake at the deer and ducks. Beautiful sunsets over the lake! The bed was very comfortable and everything we needed in the kitchen was provided. Really enjoyed the Keurig, coffee pods, and syrups each morning. I would highly recommended this condo to anyone visiting Galena! "
