Cleaniliness rated lower only due to age of selected apartment that we stayed in and the climate (humidity). Sighted other apartments for future stays and these were immaculate. "When we arrived, the entire place appeared abandoned suddenly, no one there, some room doors open. We called out and no one responded. The place was in disrepair and dirty. The experience was creepy and we left, to find another motel. We want our money back!"

"We had a great stay. George the owner is very proud of his property and showed us all around his gardens. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. Very convenient to Daintree Discovery Center. All damage from the December 2023 “extreme rain event” have been repaired. Don’t hesitate to book. You can have breakfast and dinner at the hotel cafe. Otherwise, there are very limited restaurant options, and no markets nearby, so stock up before you get on the ferry, either at Mossman or Port Douglas....

"Our stay at CapeTrib Farmstay was a trip back to nature. It gave us peace, relaxation and home comforts and all secluded within the farms ripening fruit trees. The cabin had an air conditioned bedroom a funtional bathroom and the extended canopy provided cover for comfy seating and a kitchen with gas burners and fridge freezer in an open air environment. Our Host Sam provided us with a fresh picked fruit platter which was a delight and he was very helpful with local knowledge and his kindness...

"Amazing place! Has everything you need except cellular service - but let’s be honest you don’t need that either. Host was great and had suggestions on things to see nearby. The on property swimming hole was so nice for a hot summer day. Visit the insect museum nearby if it is open. "
