"Great little boutique hotel within a local area in Taichung! Loved all the free snacks. Rooms were clean and the design was great. We only stayed one night and did realize as we got ready in the morning, it smelled like garlic (not sure how close our room was to the restaurant!) but just something to potentially keep in mind. Overall, for the value that we paid for the hotel it was great !"

This area of Taichung has a gritty feel, not as welcoming, friendly, safe and clean as other places in Taiwan. (So, maybe more like a large North American city that way?) "I checked in very late and my Expedia information didn’t work so I had to use the help phone at the self checking. If you will check in after hours ask them for their confirmation number in advance to save some time. They did get me checked in quickly though. I stayed in the executive suit on the 8th floor.
