A roaring log fire and honesty bar for drinks and snacks. The views are spectacular and although in a quiet location, within easy reach of the shops. "

"Had a family room in the annexe overlooking the river. Very spacious for us and the dog. The only negatives a bigger fridge would have been nice for a week's stay. And there was workmgoing on at the building next door so a bit noisy but would definitely stay again"

"Don’t let the colour of outside put you off inside is like a 5 star hotel from the moment you walk through the door every thing has been redecorated to the highest standard and quality we have stayed in a lot of hotels and this is one of the best ever . "Beautiful room in a beautiful property in a really beautiful location. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Only slight issues was some damp/mould in the bathroom, but it was an old building on the coast. "

"Nice cosy and friendly hotel with pub, good breakfast, attentive staff, allows dogs hence we stayed there. Only two negatives…small very firm double bed not king size, and pub/restaurant didn’t serve food until 18:30 in the evenings."
