"We have stayed at the Craiglynne several times, for us as an outdoorsy family it is an ideal blend of value, comfort and location. Some of the rooms may be a little tired, but they are large, clean, and facilities are good - it really works for us that they are dog friendly too. The staff are lovely and always happy to help make our stays, and part of the reason we keep going back. There is a lovely woodland area literally just opposite the hotel which is great for walking, particularly having some shelter if the weather turns inclement. Looking forward to our next stay already!!"

Even though it’s looking a bit tired in places, it makes up for any shortcomings with bags of character and first class, friendly and professional staff. The room and bathroom were really spacious and comfortable and the buffet breakfast caters for all tastes and is delicious. We ate in the restaurant for dinner each night and thoroughly recommend as the food is excellent and reasonably priced. Overall, a memorable stay, and we’d happily come back if returning to this lovely part of Scotland."
