"Lovely hotel, the only criticism for me was the bed was a little hard for my liking and the base was bigger than the matress and knocked myself a few times but other than that everything was excellent and the staff werr lovely and very helpful, if up that way again would definitely stay there again 😊 "

"Staying for access to university visit. Twin room was basic but very clean. Room was a bit cold but that may have been me being a bit under the weather. Bathroom was small but well formed. No toilet brush was odd but otherwise fine. Walls are paper thin. Quiet conversations are easily audible. Restaurant good. Breakfast was excellent. Excellent value for money "

"The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent, and beautifully prepared and served. Choices were plentiful. Room was amply big enough, and facilities were to high standard. Could park our car outside our room, which was handy. We enjoyed a very pleasant stay."

"As always, this hotel is a little dated, and the bathroom sinks are too small to be practical. It needs some TLC. There was a leak from the upstairs room on the day of leaving, but, saying that, everyone can have a bad day. I will continue to stay here; it's the first time I have had any issues, and the staff are always friendly, attentive and always willing to help."

"We arrived to find we had been booked into double rooms with a double bed but had requested twin beds as we were a group of six elderly men! The reception staff went out of their way to accommodate us with this request, giving us alternative rooms. W also had a great breakfast here. The reception staff were professional, welcoming and went out of their way to facilitate our needs. "
