"The property was good including breakfast. The only downside was that we hadn't seen on the website that the night we stayed was a Christmas Party night. This meant a disco so we could hear the base of the music in our room. Then after midnight the disco etc was loaded on to a van. So we were disturbed. Maybe whwn we booked in we should have been made aware. Generally though a good stay. "

"Helpful friendly staff throughout from the owners to cleaners,chef to waiters. Everyone very welcoming. Rooms can be a bit quirky and floors abit uneven but the building is 400 years old.Faclities in the rooms were modern and what you'd expect. Continental breakfast is included but with a good range of options but no cooked breakfast. Having said that the evening menu looks typical pub rather than restaurant fare but the use of quality ingredients in the hands of a cook who really knows and...

"Only a bed for the night but very pleasant old pub with friendly helpful service and cosy room, sadly had to leave before breakfast so can’t comment on food but I would book again for a longer stay in future as it’s a beautiful part of the country to explore"
