"My wife and I stayed here to celebrate our 25th anniversary. The staff including the owner were fantastic. So nice and pleasant. The property is definitely a three star but I can confidently say they are working in it as we speak. The owners bought the property about one year ago and are continuing to upgrade it. "Hotel was good overall, but everything in the bathroom was rough, for example the shower head would stay up, and the sink was handle was extremely stiff. Also I could hear everything around me, like people walking up the stairs. "

"The property was clean but it was old. All the furniture and appliances were maybe over 30 years and it was like staying in the 1950. But my wife liked the breakfast. The staff were great and helpful. But the hotel itself needed renovation."

"Excellent property and the jacuuzi was a big plus. The only downside was the outside light on the decking above the hot tub wasn't working. The service was amazing, complimentary water given in the room and one for the road. Would definitely return here, worth being further out of lake como for the views alone. "
