"Easy access hotel from the A5. Nice to have breakfast included in the price. Looks a little tired in places and a slightly odd 'cleaning' smell but overall a good stop off point. Easy drive to Shrewsbury but no dining options close to the hotel. Hotel evening options very limited."

"Stayed for 1 night with friends to break our motorbike journey up. Staf couldn't do enough for us. Very friendly and helpful. Went out of their way to cater for our vegan friend. Even gave us some oat milk to take to room for coffee when asked. Couldn't speak highly enough of this hotel. Lovely pool for a swim too"

"Everything was to a very high standard the only downside is that in a twin room for the right hand side bed there is no electricity socket or charging point, both are on the left side only which is very inconvenient "

"I’ve stay at this hotel when it had the previous owners. Even know it’s in a middle of having a refurbishment the hotel was extremely clean and tidy, only one problem was the pillows being extremely thin. It was a really nice touch to have a kettle in the room but maybe have spoons instead of wooden sticks. But apart from that it’s all coming along nicely, i definitely prefer the key card instead of an actual key. Me and my partner will be back!"
