"The big bear lodge is a pretty great place to stay owners are super nice everything was clean each room has its own setup with different styles breakfast was great, the only thing is if you want snacks or drinks they do not have vending machines or ice machine so bring a cooler with you and snack other than that a super great place to stay !!!!"

"The Nutmeg was one of our best finds in VT. Our host Shelly was caring, efficient, kind and hospitable. The Inn has easy sitting rooms for quiet time, game time or admiring her art and fresh flowers. Our Rooms were on the first floor and spacious. Breakfast was superb, healthy and farm fresh. "We had a great stay. Pool was great, room was good, the pull out couch was a little uncomfortable, but when aren't they. The game room needed updating as one arcade machine was broken. Kitchen was great in the room, and the whole hotel had a good vibe to it!"

"This is a great venue. It is affordably priced, conveniently located, artfully maintained in accordance with it original style (wooden floors and picket rail porch, antique furniture, etc.). I felt unique and pampered in my room. I even heard a train whistle nearby in the early wee hours of the morning, reassuring and comforting rather than disturbing. I hope to return for a longer stay."
