"A very clean, tidy and comfortable 3 star hotel that I surmise is family owned and possibly operated. I stayed out of season in April and it was very quiet. "Spent 2 nights here as part of a southern Italy tour. Public areas of the hotel are smart and welcoming. The reception and breakfast staff were all lovely and helpful. Breakfast was good continental fare. My room was slightly disappointing. It felt a little unloved, with old fashioned furniture and some shabby fittings. "The hotel was conveniently located for the purpose of our trip (we came for a wedding), the food at the hotel was very nice and so was the pool. However, the hotel was packed with families and quite noisy. I think it is a great place for families, but perhaps not if you want to go as a couple and have a relaxing time."

"The front desk was on the ground floor, as usual in Europe. The lift that I never used was a little bit up the stairs. To get to the 1st floor, I had to climb another circular flight of stairs. The room I had was big enough for myself, with the bathroom having plenty of space. Overall, the fixtures were aged, worn, but clean. The bed was very comfortable, the pillow being a little shallow. I asked for a second pillow and promptly got it. My room overlooked the ferry terminal across the street....
