First time when we visited Tenuta Mazzetta we were taken by the tranquility of this place - amazing pool, beautiful gardens, very friendly and welcoming staff and this rustic farmy feel. "The villa itself looks as per the pictures. The villa is set in a neglected large plot. The front garden is not usable, but could be an amazing space. The trees by the pool all need pruning and there are several cactus plants that would be a hazard to small children. The crazy paving around the pool has started to break-up.
