"So a few notes about this property: There is no parking at the property. Theres no parking on the island at all. Im not sure why they advertise parking, i find it a bit confusing. If you let them know that you will be parking, they will send you a code for parking lot 3 that can be used once. Lot 3 is the closest civilian lot to the shuttle. There is no discount for parking. As for the facilities: the hotel entrance is under construction and...theres no one at the entrance. For some reason,...

"We used Granville as our hub to explore the Normandy area in France. We rented a car and stayed at Hotel des Bains for five nights. The room was clean and comfortable. We had our adult son along so we book the "Superior Family Room side sea view" which was excellent. Our son had his own area with a privacy curtain. Our balcony looked over the sea. "This hotel is situated above the main area of the seaside so it's a walk either up or down quite a steep hill to get to restaurants and shops- good for keeping fit! The staff were excellent and helpful but we had to change our room when the shower broke which meant we were moved to a smaller room. That spoilt our stay a bit as we had a lot of luggage and stuff."
