It's not a typical hotel stay but a boutique style so we felt like we were local Romans, not a tourist. There is no front desk upon arrival. You have to go up to the second floor. The room was very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much."

"This is the worst stay I ever booked on hotels.com. I dont even know where to start with this review. No vegan/vegitarian option in the buffet. Despite asking not to disturb, room service still showed up. Elevator is for name sake and cannot fit single person with luggage. Sleeping with blinds, shutters and drapes still feels like sleeping on the street in this hotel. Bed and other furniture passed its usable age long back but it is still not replaced. Tap in the bathroom kept leaking whole...

If you require an early morning check out, be sure to let them know ahead of time. The gentleman on duty was down right rude to us and shared his displeasure of not being notified ahead of time of our 8am departure. Despite that encounter, I would recommend. "
