"This was a two night stopover to allow us to ride around the Cantel region and, in particular, the rim of the volcano (long since gone). The appearance of th hotel upon arrival gives little credit for how comfortable the rooms are and how pleasing the restaurant is. It is little surprise that the hotel is used by tradesmen and appears to be full all the time. Very pleased with our stay and would recommend."

"A friendly and helpful welcome to the Hotel and soon booked into our room and explained where to park our vehicle once we had unloaded. The hotel has a very traditional feel downstairs, charming. "Just a one night stay, sadly. Easy parking just over the road. Lovely room in top condition. Earplugs kindly supplied to help deal with the road noise from the bridge, but we didn't find it overly disturbing. Breakfast very good, but at 15 Euros the priciest of our trip round France. They also seemed understaffed at breakfast as the same staff were having to juggle reception duties as well."

"Welcoming, very pleasant & helpful staff. Room clean & modern. Stairs quite steep, there is a lift to the 1st floor only, suppose because it is an older building. Food very good, beautifully presented & great flavours. Our bugbear was the flies in the buffet area & restaurant at breakfast- maybe this was weather related as it had very wet then hot. We very much enjoyed our stay"

"We had to walk from train station to hotel with luggage in tow. Reception was closed but the were very accommodating. Rooms were equipped with everything we needed. Thank goodness the weather cooled down because there is no AC. Positives-Hotel arranged transportation back to train station, stored bags and lended us an umbrella. Also the dining room and courtyard looked quaint. Not so positive- the bedding was not comfortable."

Unfortunately in this very small town their restaurant is closed for dinner on weekend and the other hotel restaurants in town were limited in capacity to their own guests.
