"Overall a very average stay and really not worth the cost. Our room was in desperate need of maintenance. There was terrible dampness and damage to the bathroom cupboards, all the cupboards in the room had not been cleaned which was v unpleasant and the aircon also had issues. Also we were told that breakfast was served at 8am however we were only managing to get breakfast at around 8.40 as staff had not arrived yet and the restaurant wasnt even open yet. We ended up missing our quad biking...

"Saw hippos first 5 mins on property. Helicopter ride was awesome. Food was ok but view from restaurant was awesome. 10mins to Kroger gate. 2 minute drive to elephant whisperers. 2 minutes to Perry’s trading post"

The pool had green slime all through it. The bathroom had excessive mold on the ceilings. The surrounding area was extremely rural and wasn’t a safe feeling. "It's simply a unique, luxurious, tranquil & liberating place with impeccable service (thanks to Dirk, Roy, the housekeepers and dining staffs) and a wonderful vibe for romance! The only thing we didn't like was the initial drive up to the property but, beyond that, it was a lovely romantic retreat !"

"This is a nice property near Phabeni gate of Kruger National Park, which is just a 6 minute drive. Akani is a great host and if you need anything he will bend over backwards to help! You can park right next to your chalet, which is very helpful. - I personally hate lodges where you have to park a distance away! - There is a pub nearby that gets noisy at times, but if you run a fan it drowns out the noise. The property is very close to the main road and is very safe! "
