"SHOCKING SERVICE, DO NOT STAY! Our room was flooded on the first night due to the drainage, so I called reception and all they could say was someone will fix tomorrow. All our stuff was soaked which was very annoying. Following day they had said it'd been fixed, but the problem remained. They eventually agreed to change room but didn't even offer any compensation despite it being a downgrade. If not for the issue above, the stay would have been mediocre at best anyway, food was incredibly...

We stayed on level 3 in the outdoor house section, we didn’t have a good view out of the window as we were near where the walkway to the stairs to the pool were which was behind the hotel really and payed for the standard room, but we still had a private balcony area with two chairs and a table. Our room was nice, had everything we needed, however the air conditioning didn’t work which...

"Hote Playa is right across the beach, which is great. But that's about all the good I can say about this hotel. The rooms have the bare minimum, 2 beds with paper thin mattresses, a night stand, and a small tv. The towels are old and almost see thru, some had even been ripped in two and sewn around the edges. The walls were extremely thin, and the conversations from adjacent rooms could be clearly heard. For the price, I would have expected a lot more."

The hotel is in a quiet area with only is a short walk to shops, restaurants and the beautiful beach. The pool area is lovely with a bar. For breakfast and dinner the food is delicious, plentiful, with a wide choice."
