"Single night stay in November on a Sunday night. Definitely not a busy evening - could only check in till 1800 but made welcome on arrival. Room was immaculate, very comfortable and quiet despite being at the front of the property. Bizarrely no chef the following morning so given a breakfast voucher for cafe down the road which was fine. "Perfect sport for a comfy long weekend. We rented the smallest cabin for 3 nights, but it comes with a lot of amenities very well distributed. The kitchen is the perfect size and comes with a big enough fridge, great stove/oven and utensils. The shower has a great pressure and instant warm water. The bed is very comfortable and comes with plenty of pillows. It is very clean and has plenty of windows to let the sunlight in. Very peaceful and safe. It is at a walkable distance from the train...

"Originally booked/paid for Timber cabin because it suited our mobility/healthrequirements. Stroke. Allocated cabin 36. Poor condition, really stained carpets and shower in bathtub with half screen unusable to us. Unable to shower so we had to leave one day early. Furniture and floors sticky to touch. We think a through scrub out might have helped. The whole cabin needed some attention and maintenance. Two out of three external safety lights not working. Not good for a person who uses...
