"Amazing find. The room and bathroom were very spacious with a separate bath and shower. Incredibly comfortable beds and overall a very pleasant stay. Breakfast was very good at £10 per person and the only downside overall if I could find one was the weather and.... no ironing board, but apart from that, it was just superb."

Also kept awake due to the plumbing making a noise like someone drilling on and off and also made shower vibrate a come on so sounded like heavy rain, such ashame"

"Our second visit to the Blacksmiths Arms. Stayed in room 11 which was one of the little cottages at the rear of the property. Very comfortable room with full length shower in the bathroom. The food was outstanding with a good breakfast selection and delicious evening meals. The staff are very helpful and friendly. There is a bus stop on the main road every half hour to Whitby (via Robin Hood’s bay) and Scarborough in the opposite direction so we were able to leave the car and travel by bus....

We stayed in the smallest accommodation they have available which has the worst reviews and whilst the room could do with a little TLC the overal experience of the accommodation and stay was excellent for the price paid.
