"Communication with the staff is only by a supposed iPad in the room. We did not have one so we had to go to the front desk if we needed anything. The hotel was lovely and the breakfast was one of the very best that I’ve experienced. It was close to the train station which made our day trips very easy. "Hotel is very central & I found the hotel functional rather than comfortable. Room was clean & basic and the breakfast OK. Two real issues I had were: 1) Smallness of bathroom. There was no room for the sink, so that was in the bedroom itself & I couldn't put the shower mat down & close the door as there wasn't enough space. 2) I had paid for room in advance through Hotels.com but was asked on check-in & the following morning "If I had paid for the room" which I found a bit unsettling"
