"Hotel is new, fresh and clean. The staff were friendly and gave all information needed. The room was just what we needed. A big comfy bed. A big TV and a nice bathroom. The rooms were clean and homely. I really liked the artwork. I would stay here again and would recommend. The only thing I would say is the showers are not very powerful or it wasn’t in our room but it wasn’t a big deal. "

"The room was clean and comfortable albeit the walls are a wee bit thin. The bar and restaurant area are well maintained and cosy and the food and drink was very nice and not too expensive, breakfast was also enjoyable. The only downside was getting charged for parking which wasn't pre-advertised. "

"Hotel is perfectly situated in the city. Easy walk in to town. Perfect if you want to be near the station or theatre. Staff were very helpful. The bed was lovely and comfy!"

"Beginning to look a bit tired but otherwise all good. Very welcoming of our dogs as it was pre-Crufts. Biggest gripe was size of pillow in otherwise comfortable bed; they are tiny and there is only one each."

"I was a bit apprehensive about staying after reading some reviews but was really surprised. I found the staff really friendly and helpful the bar staff were great. Our room had been recently refurbished and was clean and spacious. The bed was ok but could tell it had seen better days but still slept okay. We ate in the restaurant both nights we stayed and found the food to be really lovely and reasonably priced. All the staff had time for us and were eager to chat with us when we asked any...
