However when we got there there was a nasty smell, dirty carpets, leak from the radiator in the bathroom With paint peeling off the radiator, dirt on the walls, no way of closing the blinds unless stretching up to turn the button, mould around the sink, dirty oven, sloping stairs which made climbing them extremely dangerous, intermittent internet and tv not working. "The house was a perfect place for a long overdue family holiday. 14 of our family stayed for a long weekend, communication with host was excellent the house itself was decorated and furnished to a really high standard the house was extremely well maintained and very clean. "We stayed for a week in December during a hard time for our family, and the property was just what we were after; rural, quiet and calm, with a lovely pub just yards away. The only issue we ran into was that the dishwasher was too small to clean the plates provided. But the owner was pleasant, the wood burner made things cost, and the bathroom was clean. "We stayed over the Christmas period with all of the family and the house was just perfect. Sarah and Kim were there to greet us and made us feel very welcome. The house was decorated for Christmas and was absolutely spotless and very comfortable. The house had everything we needed, a formal room where we could all be together and also lots of cosy snugs. "This is a spacious, comfortable apartment. It was equipped with everything we needed. The host was very responsive and has obviously tried very hard to provide all the information needed for our stay even providing youtube videos on how to unlock the doors and labels on kitchen drawers and cabinets.
