"Our room had the best sea view & the sound of the waves was so relaxing. As we were staying late in the season the repair & building work had started but this caused no disturbance or noise. The staff were amazing, the room was great with a powerful & spacious shower. Can't wait to stay again. "

"It was great to stay in a historic old home. It was totally comfortable and though I would be considered elderly I don’t come to Italy expecting not to have to climb stairs or do a lot of walking. The breakfast was basic continental style but everything served was above average. I wish there had been some Kleenex as noses of the elderly do weep more than we want them to. "We drove through the mountains and arrived in an industrial part of town so weren’t too sure about the place as the rain began to fall. The next morning the sun turned the place into a Disney princess film set- the breakfast was fantastico. The staff gave us a walking map and we took a dip in the Mediterranean before shopping in town and eating a gelato. Forget Porto Fino! Save your money and come here! "

The manager and front desk help, the waitstaff in the dining areas, the housekeepers, all are so wonderful!!
