"The giant bay windows facing out onto the 'prom' and the Irish Sea beyond was stunning. The moon came out for us at one point as well. Exquisite. However, the Hotel's bar and restaurant facilities were closed, which was disappointing. Luckily there were options just down the road at the Glengower. "

Very un-green: no double glazing anywhere I saw. Room cleaning skimpy - glass shelf over sink always left unwiped, tea provisions not topped up adequately, bath not wiped round. Food excellent quality, well prepared. More choice of breakfast buffet items would be welcome. If you are solo and book in advance for dinner, be aware that you might...

"I stopped at the Fairbourne on my drive up North. Actually a pretty great stay. My room was huge, recently renovated, big TV and nice bathroom. Very clean place, it was easy to park and the staff were very friendly. I would stay again."

"Having a specific room requirement the hotel give me options and went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable. With the Hotel room only refurbished in October 24, they were well finished and furnished. The breakfasts are exceptional, a full English or amazing home made fluffy pancakes just two of the choices.
