"Wow, what a surprise! Post card views of the Tuscan landscapes, beautiful rooms, spotlessly clean, authentic design with an incredible team. Nico and Lucia were wonderful! This was a quiet, laid back family hotel. Our breakfasts in the garden patio were special. Having La Bugia nestled into this hotel with Claudio’s beautiful creations made it the perfect fit for us! We already have plans to come back, and use this as a base to explore the region more, next year! We highly recommend this...

"Loved this hotel. Very peaceful considering it is on a main road. Staff are lovely. Very friendly and efficient. Always offer assistance. Both the public area and the room were spotless. Plenty of sanitising gel available and masks worn by everyone in public areas. The room was lovely, with a small balcony. Nice toiletries provided. "A true gem! Rooms are on the small side but absolutely comfortable and tasteful. Newly renovated with quality materials. The bathroom was spotless, a very nice size, shower with both oversized and handheld shower heads. Climate control was great: so quiet you could not hear the AC was on! Rooms are quiet and matress so comfortble that I overslept and missed breakfast! However, they insisted on offering me some coffee or juice. Very nice staff. Free parking on premises. "It is an extraordinary place, an old building in the old city of Popi with wonderful views of the valley next to the Popi castle with private parking next door. However, it has many details that could improve the room, which is quite poorly decorated, with bathroom accessories of very poor quality, the mattress is old and soft. "Beautiful buikding in a small Tuscan village. Rooms are beautifully aired and cool. Even during a 40degree heatwave. Owners even put our room to the back of the hotel as i dont cope with heat or noise. Not that there was any noise. Owners gave us plugins to ensure no mosquitos. Allowed us to areive very late in the night as well. Remembered it was my husbands birthday and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and relaxing. Will definitely be coming back here"

"Very hard to check in if you speak English. Hidden entrance to get key to room and not at desk regularly if at all. Finally got a lady who spoke some English and managed to get key but it wasted a few hours of our time "
