"Exceptional value for the price. They’ve done a nice job with the updates so most of the interior has a nice modern fresh look. The staff were excellent; the best hotel service I’ve had in some time. My stay included a nice breakfast and dinner. My only issue was I had tv/cable reception issues in my room. Otherwise I’d give 5 stars."

"The rooms are very basic so if you’re looking for a little more space and comfort then maybe not for you. But staff were superb, friendly and welcoming. Hotel is in a good location with the exception of the bar / club across the road, a little noisy."

"The public areas are lovely - the space in front of the mansion, the breakfast/restaurant room with amazing views over the lake. It has lots of history, and the lobby is typically Swedish in its effortless cool. The room was a little less impressive. For the cost it was basically two adjoining conference rooms with very little in the way of comfort, and a very small, disappointingly dated bathroom. "Remote, but nice place if you want to explore the countryside and lake. Very nice property. Staff was helpful, but often difficult to find. For the first three hours of our checkin there was some extremely loud and heavy machine construction right outside our room and the workers could look into our window. We were excited that there was sauna on the property, but were told on checkin that it would be an additional 250 SEK (about $25) per person, which is not worth it. We had an early departure...

"This property is very nice although the room was quite small. The facilities were modern and well-maintained. The breakfast was good. The best thing is the walkability to the sights along the river, the restaurants, and many lovely shops. I was visiting the university, which is very close. The only downsides were that (1) The elevator broke just as we arrived. However, we left our bags and went to dinner and the elevator was fixed very quickly. (2) The parking under the hotel is VERY cramped. Lots of back-and-forth to get our rental car into a spot. Otherwise, we really enjoyed visiting the lovely city of Boras!"
