"We had a lovely stay for two nights! We walked the circumference of the lake and were able to rent rowing boats from only about 50 m from the hotel to road to the island. There is a supermarket close by and plenty of restaurants. Everything is within walking distance. The hotel was very comfortable and seemed to be newly renovated. Just beware the hotel restaurant is only open until 8 pm. But the food was amazing with lots of traditional Slovenia options. Would recommend this place and would...

I was OK, but older people will find this inconvenient. The rooms are of a good size, very clean, with veranda. Not really kid safe because of open electrical outlets that kids can get into.
