"The hotel is very quaint and feels very typical of the area, although the rooms are basic when compared to the big chain hotels, they serve the purpose, the beds are comfortable and the water is hot. I wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone scared of spiders. There were spider webs in the bedroom and in the bathroom. We also found spiders in our room. "I stayed at Fuglsancentret because I had a meeting there the following morning. I arrived at night and the check-in could not have been any easier. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was wonderfully comfortable and spacious and it even had a little patio outside. The breakfast was also excellent. Overall, this was a great stay."

However we are both in our mid seventies and have slight mobility issues and were offered a room on the first floor and there was no elevator so we had to carry our heavy suitcases upstairs ourselves. The receptionist was not very responsive when I asked if only upstairs was available but continued to just walk upstairs. "Jeg må sige jeg var meget skuffet over opholdet. Værelse lille med små senge kun 80 cm og ikke standard 90 cm og badeværelse som mig som handicappet ikke kunne bruge. Heldigvis var mit værelse i nærheden af et handicaptoilet ude på gangen som jeg var nødt til at benytte. Der var edderkopper i næsten alle hjørner. "Such a cute and peaceful property. When I booked I only saw pics of the room, so I was pleasantly surprised to see how lovely the courtyard was. The outside of the building looks original and well maintained, while the inside looks like a brand new hotel room. I appreciated the games provided including giant chess, ladder golf, table tennis, air hockey, and table football. Note that linens are not included but can be rented; and check in is from 15:00 to 17:00; so plan accordingly. "
