"The hotel itself was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful staff. The lobby, the room, and even the elevators were incredibly clean. The outside patio with the fireplace is absolutly perfect for a North Carolina fall night with your partner. Very relaxing after a long day out. As a queer couple, my partner and I felt safe in the environment and were very happy with the quality of our stay."

"This property is beautiful! The rooms are very nicely updated as well. The staff are helpful and the food and service was good. The only issue is the hvac in at least two of the rooms is very loud. We complained and they gave us a room where it was a little quieter but still very loud. If it weren’t for the hvac we would want to go back for a special occasion because the property is that nice. "

"After the hurricane, there were not many places in the county that had electricity, but this home did. It was a blessing for our family to be able to live and work here for a week. The house was clean and very comfortable and the host was very easy to work with. Highly recommended for someone visiting the area or needing a place to stay while home is unavailable. "
