"This hotel is overpriced compared to hotels in major cities in Taiwan, and in poor condition. The wifi wasn't working when I checked in, was briefly fixed, and then stopped working again. There was a balcony with partial ocean views, as advertised, but the lock on the sliding door wasn't working, so it was very difficult to open and close the door. "It’s worth the price. Just some things to be mindful of, it seems like a very old hotel and so it isn’t as well furnished, but it does have all the necessities if you’re just staying the night. Also literally across the street from the nightmarket if that is something you’re interested in!"

"We loved our room, with balcony and ocean view as promised. We rented a scooter, which was a great way to see the area. The room was on the 3rd floor, with lots of steps so would not work if you cant climb stairs. The farmers market was right there. Only complaint was that there was no one there to give us back our passport. We did find someone, so it worked out."

"You can see from the pictures that this is different from a traditional hotel. It was special to be able to stay in the old style architecture with a courtyard and an outdoor "living room" in between two rooms. Breakfast was great including vegetarian items."
