"Beautiful property. Loved the character of the old mansion and the decor within the home. Check in was pleasant and easy. The TV channel selection was good compared to other places in our travels, which helps with children. Rooms were clean, however there was no soap provided to wash your hands in the room, which was inconvenient. "Lovely hotel right in the centre of Calne. But being in the centre, there is traffic noise. Breakfast was really nice with a good choice of continental items. I only stayed 1 night but it was perfect for my needs. "

"A popular local pub that was lively when we arrived for check in; noise from the bar can be heard in the room but we were out during the afternoon and enjoyed the evening in the restaurant and bar until closing so it did not disturb us.
