"Budget friendly hotel. The hotel doesn't have a hair dryer, ironing board or a good restaurant. They do have a snack bar and cold and headache meds which was convenient. The staff was very pleasant and accomodating but the facility is a bit run down. Particles were dropping from the curtain. They cleaned the room everyday and that was good. "

"This spot is unique, and it involves some coordination with the shuttle van and boat but Innis and Kevin are super cool and so helpful that it wasn't an issue. "The apartment was clean and quiet. There was some construction going on at the time (upgrades to other units?), so the patio area was a bit cluttered but accessible. It will be really nice when the pool is installed!! For a week long stay, it would have been nice to have a sofa/loveseat to sit on in the apartment and perhaps a small chest of drawers, instead of having to sit on the bed to watch TV and leave clothes in the suitcase. Appreciated all the info provided and access to the bikes....

"Beck's Bed & Breakfast is a sweet jewel of a place in a remote region of the Crooked Tree Wildlife Refuge (a birder's paradise). Robert and Becky are warm, incredibly knowledgable hosts and provide a respite from the hustle and bustle of vacation stress and more tourist dense areas. If you love birds and plants and two sweet dogs you will love staying here. They had Christmas decorations galore so we didn't miss out on the Christmas spirit. We wish we could have stayed longer. "Got to the hotel with hopes of a good stay. Durning the first couple hours we went without power a few times. The room only had a jacuzzi tub no option for a shower unless you used the contraption next to the toilet. Water wasn't warm at all. You could barley getinto the room due to the placement of the bed. The bed had dirt or sand in it which made it uncomfortable until it was dusted out. Not a100%sure but possible bed bugs or other bugs in the bed. All in all i was disappointed for the price...
