"Beautiful, quiet and remote location"

"Great place to stay, very helpful staff, and nice comfortable Villa. However the location is remote here, and there are few amenities, it states it is in San Sébastien but it is at least an hours walk from the town. There are no shops or restaurants within walking distance, its a stunning location but you do need a car definitely. Also if you are relying on cabs be warned that it can be difficult to get cabs late at night from san Sebastian town (we were told they stop around 11). Alo be sure to...

"Lovely hotel. Excellent room recently upgraded. On b and b basis - had buffet evening meal two nights and ok but prefer to eat out. Breakfast very good . Pool area not big but always plenty sun beds and umbrellas."

"We were very pleased with aspects of our stay, the apartment was clean and bright, next to the sea and was comfortable and generally well equipped. However the shower was not hot and had to run for around 10 minutes before reaching its maximum, inadequate temperature. I was also disappointed to be asked for an 80 euro deposit for keys, one of which was electronic and didn't work. We were not warned this would be the case and it seems excessive. "Liked the look of these apartments, but after reading various reviews was very open as what to expect. Was pleasantly surprised and would give it top marks for a 3 star hotel, have been to higher grade hotels that have not been as good. The room was spacious and clean and did not lack for anything. The beds were very comfortable and shower was hot and powerful. Breakfasts were very continental, but for the money very good and we never left hungry. "
