"It was a convenient location. It was good to be able to leave the car outside the guest house, and for it to included in the price. My husband and I enjoyed the views from the bedroom window overlooking the bay. However the bedroom was smaller than we expected. The staff and customers were friendly. We expected our 'own' bathroom to be in our bedroom, as opposed to being on the landing next to our bedroom. "

"Just back from South Lodge and want to say thank you very much to Steve & Tony. We arrived early and the rooms were ready, they were spacious, clean, beds were comfy the decor was lovely. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of and not for the fainthearted. Parking at the property spot on as you dont always have that luxory. Well stocked Tea & Coffee in the room and the homemade cookies were very tasty and a chocolate finished off the welcoming. Toiletries were top quality. Nothing was too much...

"Lovely staff who made the stay very pleasant. Room was lovely and clean but had a couple of damp patches on the outside wall. However apparently they are in the process of fixing the issue . All in all a very nice place to stay."
