"This is a fantastic hotel which me and my wife would thoroughly recommend. Owner Jill could not have been more helpful, with a room upgrade. Cooked Breakfast was hot, and the fruit selection first class. You would find some of the other hotels more expensive and offer you a lot less. This hotel was first class all the way."

"Fab hotel and I just love the views out into the harbour, watching the boats and the tide ebb and flow. Worth paying for seaview room. Beware of winter opening hours and do let reception know that you will be arriving, especially on a Sunday. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED."

"Lovely guest house, I had a very comfortable, large room. Although no sea view! The bathroom was a bit too small though, especially the shower cubicle. The bed was very high (needed a stepladder!) but comfortable. The room really needs a splash of colour as it was bland in its decor. Breakfast was very good and the dining room itself very beautiful with a huge log fire. The staff were exceedingly helpful, friendly and had lots of local knowledge. I'd stay there again"

"The cottage is in a lovely location, very close to Filey, with some lovely walks around the village. The quirky Ship Inn (100 yds away) provides wonderful food and a very warm welcome. The 'little Stithy' cottage was very comfortable, however, we felt it didn't need the kitchen in the same room. We were kept awake most of the night from the humming of the fridge and the bright timer light on the microwave! A tea towel remedied this. The site is great with lots to do and near local attractions such as Bridlington, Skipsea Animal and Bird Gardens, Hornsea, etc. All in all a truly lovely weekend away. "

"Caravan was filthy, the cooker was dirty and didn't work. The cooker hood was filthy. The heating didn't work . The blinds were broken. A smell coming from under sink. It wasn't fit for purpose. Mould in main bedroom,caravan was damp."
