"We stayed for 4 nights over the Easter weekend, watching the motorcycle trial in Sant Joan de les Abadesses and sight seeing in the process. I had been here once before for an afternoon and was very impressed and vowed to return. We had a room with tremendous views and the facilities were pristine. The food at breakfast time was second to none, a variety of continental and cooked breakfast choices. "We arrived on Ascencion day from the little yellow train to no bus or taxi from Villefranc to the hotel - locals gathered together at the station to take us to the hotel in a private car - refused to accept any payment. Next day we needed to do washing, again let down by taxi's to get to laundry (at the local supermarket and a local again gave us a lift but let down again by taxi's to return (not far enough).
