"The check in and check out process was efficient. The room had all you expect but also had an iron and board which is not common in many hotels. The TV worked effectively was a decent size and there is lots of storage space. The one area that perhaps needs upgrading is the shower. Very poor shower pressure but this isn’t a major issue unless you are staying multiple nights. My stay was before a flight and I felt this was value for money at the rate. I did not try the breakfast, food or bar...

"It was great value for the price. The hotel has clearly been recently refurbished. The room was spacious, modern and comfortable. The bed was very firm but that suited me. Air con/heating options. Good sized TV. Modern bathroom with a good shower and very hot water (but an unnecessarily odd and impractical tap in the basin!) I'd be happy to stay here again for the price I paid."

"Second time saying here, and hopefully not the last. Really well located for exploring Cumbria and Hadrians Wall destinations. AD122 bus which takes in those locations stops right outside hotel. Really friendly staff, great breakfast, super clean rooms. Older building so expect some sloping floors and walls off-plumb. Bedrooms are upstairs with no lift, but not a problem for us. Great value, with bar serving goid food and real ale. Can’t ask for much more. "

"Over all the Twice Brewed Pub/Inn was a lovely place. The staff were warm and friendly and the food and beers were great. I be only had two concerns. The first was all rooms were on the second floor only accessible by a steep stair case. The second concern was in our bathroom shower. The faucet was in very poor repair. The first night it was very difficult to get either the water flow side and the heat side was extremely hard to turn for proper adjustment. The second night I was unable to get...
