It’s also a few minutes walk to the Water Tower. The property is a bit old and you can smell it as you come inside your room. However, the room is very clean and spacious. The staff are nice and cordial. "

The room had the typical German amenities and decoration. I stayed in a single room so I wasn't expecting much room. The staff was friendly."

"We requested 2 single beds as travelling with my son. When got our room there was a double bed with 2 duvets. We asked about 2 single beds and was told it was a bed for 2 people! Also bad planning on my behalf booking a hotel in Germany on the opening night of the euro's. Especially as Germany won, it was loud until around midnight. Breakfast was ok"

The bathrooms are delightfully European. It is evident the owners take great pride in their property. I was dreadfully sick for much of our stay and one of the owners showed genuine concern and care for me. She provided herbal cough medicine and made sure I was still eating and drinking plenty.
