"Very friendly staff. Not the best at speaking English, but thhst not on them. We got by, and no issues. Very clean, great breakfast, and close to ferry and train station."

"There were bed bugs in our room (223). The hotel looked nice from the outside and lobby. It had good reviews and seemed like a good value. We were very surprised and horrified to wake up to several bed bugs in our bed and even climbingthe wall. The staff had difficulty communicating in English and since we knew almost no Italian, it was hard to communicate how troubling this experience was. It did not seem like the staff was unfamiliar with a problem with bed bugs there, but we could not be sure...

"This place is a gem! They were so nice, the location is within easy walking distance from the train station, the ferry, and the main downtown area. We loved the pool area. The breakfast is fantastic and we enjoyed wine and coffee from the bar. A really great property that is reasonably priced . Our room had 2 balconies including one that faced the lake - so beautiful!"

"Great value hotel on the edge of the town centre.Parking on site.Lovely big bathroom with plenty of towels and a great shower. Tastefully decorated.No bar on site but a fabulous bar across the courtyard working in liaison with the hotel. We stayed one night on our journey down to our Italian home and immediately rebooked for the stopover on the way back to England."

"Europalace exceeded all expectations. We got a corner lake view room and it was absolutely stunning! The hotel room was spacious, clear and you could tell that the bathrooms had recently been renovated. The location is perfect, and walkable to all the necessary areas around. The only difficult thing is getting to the hotel. If you take the train, just know there is a bus stop that is slightly hidden that will take you to the city center then you will have to walk to the hotel. But, that is just...
