"It was uniquely terrible. Access was beyond terrible. No vehicular access and a long long steep uphill path of steps and rough concrete. Impossible for anybody with the slightest walking issues. Hiking in the lower altitudes of the Atlas Mountains is gorgeous. Zipping through almost ten Berber villages in a few hours, you truly are able to see how the local people live in each of their villages. Chickens are running around, kids playing football, and the women are socialising amongst themselves. It's always comforting to know that there are still parts of the world that do not require much technology to maintain healthy social relationships between people.
