"It was quiet area. I was unable to contact host on arrival, it is an out of way location, quite stressful. It worked out but id suggest a sign at gate so guest knows they are in right place, plus an intercom or bell. I went in order to have a quiet place, it definitely delivered. "Close to the action without being in it. Quiet, peaceful beaches. Grocery store, markets, pharmacy, bus etc all within very short walk. The hotel itself is super clean and well maintained. It has everything you need for your comfort & the owner/host is incredibly kind and helpful. Note: While our room did have an ocean view, it is not ocean front (1 block away) "

"Room and property was as described. Breakfast of bread, yogurt, bananas or apples , scrambled eggs and coffee was adequate. Pool was nice except the water was very cloudy. A short walk down some stairs to the beach which is what we really went there for."

"We always write what we did like and what we didn't like so much. Onto the not so much to get to the awesome! The only thing we can think of is we didn't feel as secure as we could have with the room. The windows can't be left open (screens) if you want your items as protected as possible that makes it stuffy and warmer in the room when you are gone. "It's right on the beach in Olon which is the principal attraction, rooms are small but adequate air conditioning works but is a bit noisy and around 6 am I was greeted with what sounded like someone practicing the bass guitar close by. Other than that I would recommend it "

"Owners were very friendly and helpful. This is a family friendly hostal with no partying, drinking, loud music. Made it easy to sleep. Rooms are basic, no AC, no hot water but private bathroom in our room. Bedroom could use fresh coat of paint but everything was clean. For the price it was a great value. Without a car it is likely further from the beach than easily accessible. We had our own car so it was a short drive. We would definitely recommend this hostal."
