"This is a great hotel on the south side of the island, away from the crazy busy streets of Fira and Oia. It’s really well kept, staff are incredibly friendly (especially Markella on the front desk!) and the view is just spectacular, make sure you wake up to see sunrise. There isn’t a sunset view from the hotel but you could easily find a local viewing spot… Fira is about a 20min drive, we hired a car through the hotel (€55 per day) for two days which allowed us to see most of the island....

"What an amazing stay!! Our flight arrived at 6am and we were still able to check in by 9am! Also gave us a beautiful room upgrade and late check out. Had an amazing time here, staff was friendly and helpful and room was cleaned daily. Great location, right on the black beach! "

"The employees are so sweet and caring, they are there 24/7 and ready to give directions. They gave a tour of the property and babysat our luggage till our room was ready so we could go out for lunch. They Ordered us a taxi when we were ready for the airport and it felt more like a Bed and Breakfast than a hotel. It was a little walk to city center for food but the views and atmosphere was worth it. 35 euro taxi to/from airport and 25 euro to/from fira if you don't want to wait on the bus to 2...
