"In the heart of Spanish Quarter so it was fun to hear the lively atmosphere and singing in the restaurant next door from the terrace. Once you want some quiet time, just close the terrace door and enjoy the room. The room always smelled fresh when we came in after a long day of sightseeing. "We had a great stay at Hotel Herculaneum overall! The hotel and its facilities were clean and well-kept. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. It even had a lovely balcony overlooking the street! It was tidied up daily and washcloths and bathmats were replaced daily (there is no Do Not Disturb sign - which we didn’t mind). There was a slight drainage issue in our shower on our first night (which caused a little flooding) but the issue seemed to have been fixed by the time we returned...
