"I had a delightful stay at Friars Wynd. Check-in is not open (or an option) until noon as reception is the bar. I was hoping to check my bag early but wonderfully the cleaning staff had been through and my room was ready for an early check in. There are no room numbers, just names. I stayed in Ness which overlooked the road out front. The room was nice with a super soft bed and an iron burn in the carpet floor. This reminded me of my past ironing snafus. "Yet another lovely couple of days at The Murraypark. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely room with great views of Crieff. We ate dinner in the bar because we had our dog with us but it was so cosy and the menu is the same as the restaurant. The food was all delicious! The cooked breakfast is one of the best we’ve had. We are already planning our return trip. "

"Excellent staff, great food, comfortable bed, excellent biscuits etc , quiet. Decent sized bathroom, floor could have been mopped more thoroughly. For a long stay a wardrobe rather than the wall mounted hanging would be required but perfectly OK for a few days."

"This is such a lovely hotel and we’ll definitely use it again. From when we first stepped in until we left this morning, we were made to feel welcome. The food is a real treat (haggis bonbons and the fleet iron steak were to die for). The room was a touch of luxury, well stocked with tea and coffee, fresh milk in the fridge and a breakfast in the room. It was all spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. We’ve come away feeling like we’ve been spoilt! "

"A lovely old Scottish building, full of charm and character which is sadly lacking in modern multi-chain hotel groups. The staff were all absolutely lovely - very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable, equipped with tea/coffee facilities, and a well-stocked bathroom. We were eating out in the evenings, but the breakfasts were wholesome, well-cooked, and with excellent choices.
