"I recently stayed at Hôtel Carré Vieux Port and overall had a pleasant experience. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a great night's sleep after a long day of exploring. However, the WiFi was quite disappointing, with slow speeds and frequent disconnections. Despite this inconvenience, the rest of the amenities and the friendly staff made up for it. The staff were very friendly and answered our questions about our scheduled train ride. While smoking is very common in Europe, it is good to keep in mind (especially if you or your young children are sensitive to the smell) that some cigarette smoke may come through your window from the café below - we didn’t mind too much...

"Ive come to Marseille to visit my friend. For my stay, I wanted a hotel tjat was quite close to Saint Charles station and was an affordable proce. I booked Ibis via hotel.com and it disappoint. I arrived in the evening. The receptionist was very friendly , spoke good english and was very helpful. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a real treat offering cereals, toast, pastries, coffee and juices. I would definitely recommend this hotel. *5 all the way! "
