"Booked the property then saw the reviews so was abit nervous to go here with them all being bad but I can not fault our stay at all! Upon arrival the music was loud in the pub, we checked in and the manager took us out the back. We were in one of the self contained lodges in the courtyard and it was of a very high clean standard, as we arrived the heating was on. It was newly refurbished and it was done to a high standard. Only one fault, the is a gap between the bottom of the door and the floor...

"This is a larger-sized house hotel, I arrived late but the host was staying up and then was invited into the house, was made a coffee and shown to the room. Many steps have been taken to make the place operate as a hotel, I stayed a few nights and felt I would be welcomed back."

"We had problems reaching the property contact regarding key collection... tried emailing, phone calls and text messages, thankfully at 1:30pm while on route we received a WhatsApp message with our arrival details from business number. We arrived at 2:55pm, check in was 3pm the cleaner was still in the property so we had to go away and return at 5pm. Quickly it became apparent that the property was unsafe and not clean. "Arrived to find all lights out. Rang up and was informed the keys were under a rock outside. Room was clean but the mattress on the bed was cheap and worn out. It rates as the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. TV was on a low table instead of the wall resulting in a stiif neck to watch it. Nothing in local area to improve my opinion. I will not be staying again."
