"Basic, Value for Money Bed and Breakfast Accommodation This is a very good basic, value for money B&B yet it is not a hotel as advertised as amongst other missing hotel amenities it does not have a bar or restaurant serving anything other than breakfast. On my stay, on a cold autumn night, the heating was not turned on until the early morning, and the bedding was damp and cold with the feeling that they had just come out of the washing machine and I could not connect the Wi-Fi. "A couple of downsides - stairs rather steep and a little dimly lit for an elderly lady and not sure sound proofing in rooms is that good but otherwise very enjoyable stay with very accommodating hosts "

"Found all staff to be very friendly and very helpful. Room was very warm, unable to open window wide enough to allow some cool night air in that was my only issue. "

The only thing that I would say tainted the stay was that I couldn’t turn the heating off in the room and with the room being small and at the top of the building, it was so, so hot. Other than that, great."

"The staff were so welcoming and lovely it made the stay so enjoyable. There was an issue with WiFi and the staff couldn't apologise enough. It did not matter to us as we could enjoy the stay without the phones/emails etc. The food was all home cooked and delicious. Will definitely visit again."

"Contrary to some reviews i have read about this establishment, we were very impressed! The staff were really lovely and very helpful, friendly and efficient. The room was clean,well appointed and quiet. We ate there both evenings of our stay and i honestly couldn't fault our meals in any way. Simply delicious and plenty of it. Breakfast was also very good and massive! We will definately be staying here again and i thouroughly,wholeheartedly reccommend it to anyone. Well done Burrator inn."

"Third time we have stayed here. Very convienient, nice breakfast, friendly staff. The let down was Room 12 which has restricted head room which is a particular issue if you wake at night. Was not aware of this when booking though now ive looked at reviews, others have commented on the same issue. Will definately stay again, just not in that room."

"Highly recommended. Super organised and friendly owners that are providing a very high standard. We regularly stay in Brixham when we are putting the boat and and out of the water or seeing mates and there is some good accommodation in the town but this is now our favourite place. It’s very easy to access with the waterfront restaurants and best bits, contactless check in and then a great view at breakfast over the inner harbour. "
