"The location is nice, about a 10-minute walk from the main bus and island ferry terminals. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet, but still features some pretty tasty local restaurants and a convenience store nearby. "The rooms are nice though be aware that this is an unstaffed hotel. Fine for anyone fairly self reliant in Japan but I suppose anyone who would not be comfortable at an unstaffed hotel knows who you they are."

"We really like the location, it’s near the beach, but then we found out that beach has a lot of jellyfish, so we cannot swim in the ocean there. We were there with 2 little kids, two and four years old, we had to walk to the office to check in then bring all of our stuff to the cabin ourselves, we ask if she can help but the lady was not able to offer any help. On the last day, we are about to leave, but there was a typhoon, so we were caught at the ferry terminal without a rental car, we...

"It was a memorable stay. The hotel is close to the beach. The lovely ladies provided unforgettable hospitality. The meals were simple Japanese home made food. They invited us and other guests to see the Sagaribana (the flowers only bloom at night) in the neighbours garden then the owner of the house invited us into their garden to admire this beauty. If I could give them 10 stars for their hospitality I would. Highly recommended. "
