"Positives: Great location for walking to Huangshan tourist scenic bus terminal (5 minute walk). Great beds - comfy. Room large. Negatives: Drains in bathroom producing dreadful smells that contaminated the room (they left window and doors open on arrival so didnā€™t notice then) No English available anywhere but we managed to get by checking in no problem due to reserving through booking. They canā€™t help with any queries regarding huangshan mountain though. "

"Very convenient location for exploring the mountains. Breakfast was included in price and it was good. The heater in the room was very slow to heat but it kept me warm enough. The employees were all very helpful. One of the front desk workers helped book me a taxi to Hongcun, which was great because otherwise I don't know how I could have found a way there without wasting a lot of time."

"Castle in the Sky Youth Hostel was one of the best hostel experiences I have ever had! The employees made sure to go above and beyond every expectation to provide excellent service. Not only did they consistently make me and my group food, but they ordered us cars, drove us places in their own car, and gave us numerous travel tips. It was raining the day that we wanted to go hike around the mountains, and the hostel was selling ponchos for 10rmb each. When they realized that they did not have...
